Design and 3D Printing

Our 3D design and 3D printing workshops for children are a fun and interactive way to learn about an innovative technology, develop their creativity, improve their problem-solving skills, and learn about a technology that is increasingly important in today’s world.

Detailed description of the classes:

  • Presentation of the 3D printer: We provide a simple and accessible explanation of how the 3D printer works and have a live demonstration of the first 3D print.
  • Exhibition of 3D prints: For each session, we bring a varied collection of 3D printed objects, and each of them can be touched and examined in detail.
  • Individual project: Each participant has the opportunity to work independently on a computer, while learning the basic functions of 3D design programs and creating a digital 3D design by following steps.
  • Interesting facts about 3D printing in the world: We explore various fields where 3D printing technology has a significant impact, such as prosthesis manufacturing or architecture, and we learn how people use this technology.
  • The end of the workshop: Each kid presents its design to the class. At the end of each workshop, each kid receives its own creation, printed on the 3D printer (delivered next week during the workshop).
  • Thematic customization based on age: We adapt the subject and the complexity level of the workshops according to the group and the occasion. We can create thematic projects for Mother's Day, Carnival, Easter, or explore buildings and castles, adapting to the children's preferences and interests.

3D Pens

The 3D pen workshops are centered on independent activity and encourage spatial creativity. We offer a detailed look at how they unfold:

  • Introduction to 3D pens: We explain the working principle and how these special pens operate.
  • Each student receives a 3D pen: Each participant will receive their own 3D pen to start the creative adventure.
  • Simple starter project: We start with a simple design so kids can understand the basic technique of working with a 3D pen.
  • Distribution of worksheets: We provide specially designed worksheets to help kids create with the 3D pens.
  • Presentation of works: Participants have the chance to present the result of their work. At the end of the workshop, children take their own models home.
  • Thematic customization: We can adjust the project theme to fit special events, such as Mother's Day, or Christmas. If you have your own theme in mind, we are open to implementing it together with the children!
